01
Assess, never assume
A structured interview, validated rating scales and your developmental history.
About your practitioner
Clinician, educator and researcher in functional medicine and functional neurology, and a certified ADHD practitioner.
Why this clinic exists
ADHD is real, and it's more than attention. Alan's practice looks at the whole person: the brain, and the sleep, nutrition, stress and body factors that make ADHD easier or harder to live with.
He is a certified ADHD practitioner with Psychiatry Redefined (USA), is studying towards a Fellowship in Functional and Integrative Psychiatry, and works alongside GPs and psychiatrists. Alongside the ADHD Clinic, Alan practises osteopathy in Llandudno and Menai Bridge.
Four principles
01
A structured interview, validated rating scales and your developmental history.
02
Attention alongside sleep, nutrition, movement and emotional health.
03
Looking for sleep problems, nutrient gaps, anxiety and thyroid changes that can mimic or worsen ADHD.
04
Lifestyle, nutrition, coaching and strategies in one plan, working alongside any medication from your prescriber.
Working together
We don't diagnose ADHD or prescribe medication. Formal diagnosis is made by a psychiatrist or specialist ADHD service. With your permission, we share our findings with your GP or psychiatrist.
